So the Phillies hired Ryne Sandberg to manage their AAA team




I am half-expecting the Cubs to hire Ivan DeJesus for their AAA team.

    DeJesus is already on Mike Quade's Cubs staff. Maybe that's why the Cubs didn't hire Ryno...couldn't have the two of them together. But boy was that a sweet trade, Bowa and Sandberg for DeJesus.

    I did not know that DeJesus was even in baseball let alone on the Cubs staff.

    I can't even think of a suitable adjective for that trade.
