Buck Weaver


On this date in 1956, Buck Weaver died at the age of 65.

"There are murderers who serve a sentence and then got out. I got life."

On his lifetime banishment from baseball due to his involvement in the 1919 Black Sox Scandal.

    I completely forgot that was today.
