Nepotism will only take you so far in some businesses

I see that TBS has let go their lead baseball announcer, Chip Caray who was the son of Braves announcer, Skip Caray (who I personally loved) and the grandson of Cubs announcer Harry Caray (who I didn't love but I understood the appeal).

Chip Caray was of course brutal in calling the playoffs this year with numerous gaffes, misstatements and really an unfamiliarity with American League teams. I have mentioned some of these problems in detail before on this site so I will leave that alone now. It will be interesting to see where Mr. Caray lands but I think he might need some work before he could get back to broadcasting baseball on a national level again.

Lightning bolt!

If McCaahrver insists on bending everyone's ear every 2 minutes, at least come up with some new stories! His Bob Gibson anecdotes got old after the first 500 times he told them!
