Congratulations to Team USA who defeated favored Team Canada 6-5 to take the gold medal in the World Junior Hockey Championships yesterday!
Team USA includes A. J. Jenks from our very own (right down the street) OHL team, the Plymouth Whalers and to make matters even better, he is a local kid.
Look, I know nobody much cares about this on a baseball site (except maybe Captain Canuck) but........I do.
A lot of Canadian jerseys in that crowd too. Oh, well.
(My boys are gonna ask A. J. to see that medal Saturday in his first game back)

That is a good one Alex and for the unitiated this is a clever modification of a chant that the crowd does at the arena honoring a Whaler sponsor at certain parts of the game.
