I see that Cameron Maybin has now switched his walk-up music to "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus* joining Troy Tulowitzki and Nick Johnson who also have chosen that song for their walk-up music.
I think Maybin saw Tulo's .317 batting average and thinks this song is a cheap easy way to raise his own .230 average.
Of course, Nick Johnson is batting .167 so it doesn't work for everybody.
"Yeah! It's a party in the USA!"
*After I posted on Tulo's connection to "Party in the USA" last week, almost overnight, I got friend suggestions on Facebook for Miley Cyrus fans. Let me tell you something you already know. Facebook knows EVERYTHING! In less civilized times, we would have made it a deity, worshipped it and offered sacrifices to it.
