Ray stung by a ray
Marc Topkin of the St. Petersburg Times reports that Sean Rodiguez of the Tampa Rays was spending some time at the beach at Redington Beach when he was stung by a stingray which necessitated a call to 911 and medical treatment from paramedics.
We sure hope Sean is feeling better. Rays are territorial and don't always get along with other rays, you know.
Do you know why you never see a Detroit Tiger on one of those African safaris?
They are not allowed to go.*
Look it up!
*It is for the same reason that the San Jose Sharks can only swim in inland lakes. Teams aren't dumb, you know.
