What is wrong with Grady?

I was watching Sports Center last night and they said that Grady Sizemore is hitting .106 against lefties this year and they were also talking about the overall decline in his numbers the last three years which is strange for someone that is 27 years old.

This is something that I was unaware of but as I will explain, I probably should have been.

Last year, Computer Boy and I made our annual trip to Cleveland to see the Tigers play the Indians. We sat next to an older lady who was probably in her 80's and a friend of hers that could have been her daughter. I exchanged "hellos" with her as I sat down and I remember thinking that she looked like she had a bit of an edge to her. It was really hard to put my finger on it but there was a certain "rawness" to her.

Anyway, in the first inning, Grady Sizemore came up to the plate and the lady screamed (well as loud as an 80 year old lady can scream) "GET A GOD*@MN HIT FOR ONCE GRADY!".

Whoa! Suspicion confirmed almost immediately!

As I recall, she didn't scream at any of the other Indians, just Grady. I guess that was my clue that Sizemore was on a mysterious decline.

I wonder what she thinks of the .106 this year?
