This is why Dice-K was so good in Japan but not so good here

Let me write an essay about a joke post...As a Daisuke fan, I think his dominance in Japan is overstated or possibly his success in America is understated. He had a 67.4% winning percentage in Japan and is sitting at 64.6% pitching for the Red Sox thus far. So there really isn't a question regarding if he has been successful here. The question is was he worth all that money?

Matt,

The winning percentage may be a byproduct of his respective teams here and Japan. Haven't the Red Sox won at about a 64% clip while he has been here, I could look it up and suspect it is tad less but still close to Dice-K's winning percentage.

I doubt that he was as injured in Japan as he has been here.

I bet if you gave Theo Epstein some truth serum, he would say that he would not have done that deal knowing what he knows now.
