Ok, this is what they are going to go with here

Ken Gurnick of mlb.com reports that it is expected that the Dodgers are going to place Manny Ramirez on the 15 day DL (15 day for now) for a "strained right calf". Again they are going to go with "strained right calf" on this one.

Apparently there will be no repeat of the time in Boston when Manny kept "misremembering" which leg was actually "injured" and was alternately seen limping at different times on both legs and even got confused while speaking with the doctor the Red Sox sent him to.

Again this time they are going to go with the right leg and it is going to be a "strained right calf."

Apparently there is also going to be a "medical record" of this with the actual diagnosed "injury" matching the complaint of the patient. On the report, the doctor will fill "strained right calf" in the blank under "diagnosis" on the form.

The Dodgers don't want any repeat of that Boston "what is the injury?" stuff.

It's a long season, you know.

Ever played 162 games?

Don't judge unless you have.
