Born on today's date, Tom Gorzelanny.

I have not been much impressed with these "pitching in a church" cards. I think the concept is ok but the execution appears off the mark. Like "well off". In this card, I think that is about the most uninspiring "stained glass" I have seen outside of a Skoptsy church.

If Topps would show just a little bit of imagination, they might have something here.

I think they should try putting Gorzelanny in front of one of these stained glass backgrounds.

Now we are talking!
