The 13 year old boy who caught the walk off home run apparently traded the ball back to Mazeroski for two cases of beer.
The drinking age in Pennsylvania in 1960?
Well I guess it was "only beer".
Good thing it wasn't the 1986 Mets.
Who knows what they would have offered the boy.

They are also dedicating a statute of Bill Mazaorski today at PNC Park

...And then after an evening rain shower, the statue was left half-melted and unrecognizable to anyone passing by because Nutting commissioned it to be made from paper machete and Splenda to save money.
It's the thought that counts, you know.
