I heard ESPN's Jayson Stark say on yesterday's Mike and Mike show about the Giants in the World Series: "They can't win a game by outscoring them [Rangers]."
To be fair, he was talking about the Giants getting sucked into playing an American League style game.
But, come on.
That is a good one though yes, I can see how someone could make that linguistic error.
For what it is worth, I find Jayson Stark to be the master of the obvious. More power to him though if he can make a living off of it.
I don't believe I have ever heard Joe Posnanski's voice. Unless it is a garbled mess, I think he is underutilized on tv and radio.
