Well, yes he can pitch better now, but it was sweet to see the Yankees whack his Twins around like pinatas. The Rangers on the other hand.... Okay, before I go, an unfair, childishly cruel ad hominem (did I cover it all?) attack on Carl (I guess I am that small): geez, Louise, you see the size of his nostrils during the ALDS? You could fit a bus up there.

Regretted? Yes and No. World Series in '09. Horrible in '10. I would take right in the middle for '11 from Burnett.
He was decent in the regular season in 2009 though did not pitch particularly well in the playoffs. 2010 speaks for itself.
If the Yankees could rid themselves of that contract today, I am sure they would.
I could be wrong but I am getting a 2005 Kevin Brown vibe on Burnett right about now.
Could be worse. Could be a Carl Pavano vibe.
Carl Pavano can pitch now! A little late for the Yankees but....

No problem.
We encourage childish (well not cruel but let's go with unfair) ad hominem attacks here.
