I forgot he owned the Padres. Do you remember that the guy who owned Dominos Pizza also owned the Detroit Tigers (I'll be you do and I also bet you remember the guy's name)? When I worked for Dominos as an "Italian Food Transportation Representative" (aka: driver), I had to wear a Detroit Tigers baseball cap. I thought that was pretty cool; I still have it.

Domino's world headquarters is in Ann Arbor, Michigan about 15 miles from my doorstep. It is a mega-complex with a farm and an affiliated law school attached. I also worked for Domino's as a driver but unfortunately had to wear a Domino's hat. (Ever had ladies come to do the door drunk without clothes with an "invitation"? Many other stories)

Tom Monaghan, owner of Domino's owned the Tigers in the 80's. Won the World Series in his first year in 1984 but then quickly lost interest in the team and neglected it before selling to another pizza baron, Mike Illitch, owner of Little Caesars.
