Don Wilson
On this date in 1967, Astros pitcher Don Wilson pitches the first of his two career no-hitters striking out 15 and beating the Braves 2-0.
"I was amazed at the game he threw. He had thrown 155 pitches against San Francisco in his last start and we had brought him back on 3 days rest where we have been on a 5-man rotation. I was dying in the dugout. This is just so hard on a manager. I should get extra pay too." - Astros manager Grady Hatton
