I think you might need glasses. He got his 300th hit in 1978. He got his 3000th in 1995. That is one ugly dude, though. Is it just me, or is his arm way too small in that picture.

I don't know about the arm but the fingers on the right hand creep me out a little.

I herad if you look REALLY closely, like with an electron microscope, you can see the (paint by) numbers underneath some of the colors.
