It was impossible back in Patek's day not to hear referred to as 'Little' Freddie Patek. 'Little' seemed to be his given name.
Sabathia looks like guys I played softball with.
The Etchebarren card is great, prototypical Topps '70s design and Andy's instantly recognizable mug. Great post for an O's guy like me who is pining for the 'good old days'.
As a kid, I always played on the Orioles because I was decent and my coach protected me in the draft from year to year. Wore the black and orange forever. Also the Orioles in real life were good when I was young and gave the Tigers fits so I remember the "good old days" too.
Oh and I played softball too and those "C.C." guys can be pretty good (at the plate).
