....we here in Detroit inevitably hear from the "other town" how Detroit is such a pit etc etc and their city is so much better so therefore their team will win.

They don't even bother making friendly bets with our mayor because I guess there is nothing that they would want from us if they win.
Well, we're not hearing any of that this time for some reason.
Just for the record, have you ever seen a bum "do it" in a cardboard box on the sidewalk and then fling it into traffic?

Well, actually, Detroit IS a pit. But, New York has rats the size of collies and vomit in the subway is considered art.
So, it's a kind of a wash.
Anyway, should be a good game tonight.
But it's OUR pit! (That's what suburbs are for though)
