Ichiro
On this date in 2004, Ichiro Suzuki surpasses George Sisler's record of 257 hits in a season. He will finish the season with 262 hits.
"Chicks who dig home runs aren't the ones who appeal to me. I think there's sexiness in infield hits because they require technique. I'd rather impress the chicks with my technique than with my brute strength. Then every now and then, just to show I can do that too, I might flirt a little by hitting one out."

LOL, good one.
I think officially, you are not allowed to put Suzuki after his first name. I don't believe MLB has licensed his last name, they could only afford to license his first name.
I think it's a pretty cool last name. I don't know why he doesn't use it.
I would use it. On second thought, I'm not Asian though so it just wouldn't look right. If I was Asian though....
