My Jays are certainly happy to be out from under that contract for sure!
The Angels were nuts there and with any kind of negotiation would have had to only assume a portion of that contract.
I think the Angels just finally got out from under the Gary Matthews Jr. contract they'd been eating for last 4-5 years.
