Not at all understanding the Pirates thought process here even if the Yankees pick up most of his salary. And I certainly would not give up ANYBODY above A ball for him. Makes no sense for the Pirates. They should be developing people in their farm system and not doing this stuff.
It really is a shame, because the Pirates really do have a loyal following, but the management has been so poor for so many years that people have just become used to losing. The Pirates are the exact opposite of the Pens and Steelers.
