you weren't too far off - for a while there, it was looking pretty good. I was hoping for a Baltimore - Pittsburgh World Series.
I have a business colleague in Pittsburgh who early in the summer would call me quite frequently very excited about the Pirates. The calls tailed off considerably around August and actually I don't think I have heard from him in months now.
