Well, he was no Biff Pocoroba ...
Not the greatest defensive catcher and didn't have the greatest arm (which is mitigated by the fact that the running game is not as important as it was 30 years ago) but 427 home runs at that position puts you up there with the all-time greats. Would I rather have Yogi or Johnny Bench? Yep.
