Don Wilson
On this date in 1967, Astros pitcher Don Sutton pitches the first of his career two no-hitters striking out 15 and beating the Braves 2-0.
"I was amazed at the game he threw. He had thrown 155 pitches against San Francisco in his last start and we brought him back on three days rest where we have been on a 5-man rotation. I was dying in the dugout. This is just so hard on a manager. I should get extra pay too." - Astros manager Grady Hatton
