Christina Taylor Green: 2001 - 2011
A nine year old little girl who's father is Dodger scout, John Green and who's grandfather is Dallas Green.
Her only "crime" was showing an interest in listening to a speech by her local congressional representative.
I had held off posting a tribute to this little angel with the hope that I would have some worthwhile thoughts to share but frankly nothing is coming to me. Perhaps the sadness is blocking everything out.
Some are politicizing this horrible event. I have heard many blame Sarah Palin and while I am not a fan of hers, I don't think that is quite fair. I have also heard a right wing commentator blame "liberals" but I must say I was frankly unable to follow his argument so I will put that in the "not fair" category as well. I have heard others blame the State of Arizona but unfortunately there are unbalanced people everywhere so I can't go there either.
For now, I am going to block all that out and think of this wonderful child.
RIP Christina.
