The umpires messed up the "pitcher must face one batter" rule last night in Houston?
You know somebody must have slipped something into their food before the game.
"Touche" to whoever did this!
Love pranksters.

Profound clubhouse thoughts

1 star out of 5 on the "cliche-meter": So vanilla. Boring! Try that purple passion flavor every now and then!

Did you know that new Angels player Mike Trout....
....is younger than Frankie Muniz was in the last year of Malcolm in the Middle?
Well it could be true!
I mean I'm not gonna figure it out on a calculator or anything.
I did hear that Mike Scioscia's grand kids used to babysit him though.

You can't ALWAYS just use a cliche

Yesterday a man jumped to his death from the roof at the hotel where the Angels were staying in New York. Apparently, Angels players, Jered Weaver and Matt Palmer witnessed the suicide.
Here is Angels manager Mike Scioscia's quote on this:
"It's obviously traumatic when you witness something like that, but these guys understand the privilege of playing baseball."
?????
That is one weird quote/cliche. It is so weird that I have been looking at it for a while and can't really do anything with it.
That being the case, I leave it highlighted above so that it can stand in all it's glory.
