I see the Phillies hired Bruce Sutter to work with their prospects

While there, I bet he gives some "beard tips" to Jayson Werth.

I really think this should be a higher priority for him than the prospects.

The prospects will either make it or they wont.

Werth's beard on the other hand...

Three more games of this?!

Major League Baseball is moving three games scheduled between the Blue Jays and Phillies on June 25th to June 27th from Toronto to Philadelphia fearing possible street disturbances or riots at the G 20 Summit scheduled at the same time near the Skydome.

I don't know about you but if I was MLB, I think I would just take my chances in Toronto.

And as you can see, they got good aim there.

Can also shoot on the run.

Tell all your drunk little friends.

I bet they never have to use those again.

He's not only a sour-puss on the card

It appears that the Mets newly acquired catcher, Chris Coste is not exactly pleased to be with his new team.

Per Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post, the ex-Phillies catcher/first baseman signed with the Mets just three days after belittling his new team in an interview with a Philadelphia sports website.

After telling CSNPhilly.com that he "will always be a Phillie," Coste said he had been hesitant to sign with the Mets, "It was the Mets," Coste said. "It's the last team I ever saw myself playing for. I knew I was going to accept (the contract), but had to think about it for a few days."

This guy is 37 years old and hit .224 last year with 2 home runs (both of them) and 18 rbis.* And he had to think about a contract offer from a major league team?

Hey Coste, I know catching Oliver Perez is no picnic but so what? Further, Gary Sheffield is no longer on the roster so what is the problem?

Life is rough I know but.....

Mets fans, got any rotten tomatoes?

*I know that he is a defensive catcher but so what?

Hire me or I will steal from you

Per AP, a masked fan, Matthew Mervine was ejected from a Phillies playoff game. On his way out of the park, 22 year old Mervine detoured into the ballpark office. (Memo to Phillies security staff: Get ejected fans entirely off the property) While in the office, he filled out a job application and a security camera recorded him stealing three World Series rings. (These are just laying around!)

Mr. Mervine was identified and located by.......well the information and address he left on his job application. Obviously, this is a police matter now.

I could probably do quite a bit with this one but really it would be like taking candy from a baby.

This one is so good it stands on his own.
