Says it is only the 5th inning, the White Sox are in a pennant race and this is the "AMERICAN LEAGUE" after all!

So the Tigers beat the Red Sox Saturday on a "walk off walk"* by Ramon Santiago.

Apparently the game was in danger of "never ending" because Santiago did not know that for the run to score he must touch first base so to record the walk. As he was walking back to the dugout, his teammates motioned him over to first base so the game could end.

You know, sometimes you hear things that you kind of wish you never did.
