Per the Seattle Times:
"Just after 9 p.m., a State Patrol trooper patrolling Interstate 90 saw a speeding 2004 Volkswagon R32 passing other vehicles in the express lane in the Mount Baker Tunnel. As the Volkswagon came out of the tunnel, the trooper clocked it going 110 mph as it continued across the floating bridge. With the trooper behind him, the driver eventually pulled over on Mercer Island.
The driver who was identified as Garrett, told the trooper he had to get home to Fall City because he was late bidding on a coveted item and Ebay was about to close the auction, said Trooper Dan McDonald, a spokesman for the State Patrol in Bellevue.
According to McDonald, Garrett 'didn't say what he was bidding on but the trooper said his car was filled with Star Wars stuff.'
Garrett's car was impounded - with all his Star Wars collectibles inside - and Garrett was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of reckless driving."
I am thinking that this would be a perfect scene for the movie Toy Story 3 with these action figures in the back seat having the following conversation:
Hans Solo: "This Garrett guy is kind of crazy. I wish he would just lose interest in Star Wars and just donate us to somebody; maybe like a little kid."
Luke Skywalker: "Forget that man, we are supposedly valuable. This guy will never give us way. After all, we have been owned by him for like over 30 years. We are stuck with him."
C3PO: "If we are so valuable, how come we are in the back seat of this crummy car in an impound lot with grimy looking guys looking in and pointing at us."
Chewbacca: "Stop complaining. I am supposed to be really valuable and have never been out of the box!"
Hans Solo: "Didn't Woody and Buzz Lightyear escape a few times? Let's take our chances with the grimy guys. Get up there and see if you can unlock the door!"
