Hmmmmm. How to reconcile this statement with known facts? This could be a challenge.
Well the Reds are not better than the Brewers on paper. They also just proved that they are not certainly better on the field. Ok, I give up as this is an exercise in futility.
Seriously though, I don't really fault Phillips for "thinking" this. As a manager or team owner, this is the type of attitude you would want in your players.
I just think that Brandon might want to work on his timing though. Maybe wait until one of your pitchers throws a no-hitter against them or something.
Just sayin.
