Carlos Delgado has a life coach

Per the New York Post (Yea, I know it is a tabloid but still): "Disabled Mets slugger, Carlos Delgado seen lunching with his life coach, Jim Fannin at Patsy's where they bumped into veteran MLB umpire, Joe West."

Hmmm. A little confused.

What is a life coach?

What do they do?

Where do you apply for this job?

Full or part time?

I seriously do not know anything about this.*

*Ok. I could not resist so I googled Jim Fannin and was taken to www.jimfannin.com. In the "About Jim Fannin" section, it states:

"Jim Fannin is an educator, author, consultant, speaker, life strategist and mental coach. He teaches techniques and methods that enable you to change your life for the better. In 1974, Jim created the S.C.O.R.E. Performance System. It is a collection of thought management tools that empower you to reach high daily standards and ultimately tap into your greatness (what if you are not great at anything? like a jack of all trades or something? CC). With uncanny intuition (I thought this was a female thing? CC), experience and the S.C.O.R.E. System, Jim Fannin changes lives."

It goes on but you know there are only 24 hours in any given day and our time on earth is not infinite so I decided that to read further was an utter waste of time so I gave up on it.

I wonder what he could do with Lindsay Lohan, Courtney Love or even Buckethead?

If he could turn them around, well then I maybe I would listen.
