It's like Bartman never happened

Seattle "fan" assuring the opposing team of a home run last night.

The guy next to him had the right idea.

Great picture dude. That guy should be beaten, never welcome in the Kingdome (or whatever they call their field) again! Another odd thing is you don't see a single Mariners cap or shirt in the crowd...

Bartman who?

At least it wasn't a cup of Pabst getting tossed down.

And it wasn't like Seattle was putting any runs up on the board to counter act this.

Why do people lose their brains when they see a ball at the ballpark. It's a ball!

Dude, you're going to get kicked out the game! You can buy a ball at the sporting goods store. In fact, drop me a line. I'll send you a ball. I'll even autograph it for you.

At Comerica Park, anybody that catches a home run ball hit by the opponent is STRONGLY encouraged by other fans to throw it back and most succumb to peer pressure and do just that so they don't "own" the ball for very long anyway.

Of course, the trick is to bring your own junk ball from home and if you catch an opponent's home run ball, you throw the junk ball back.
