You fight all season long and win all those games and they give you a hat with cheap looking stitching all over it with a large emblem that it makes it look like a flock of geese just flew over?
Are any of those guys wearing those things today?

No, they've sold them all to the card companies to make jumbo swatches as ALCS Championship hats as worn by your favorite mid to late reliever. Look for them in packs next week.

These players do need to find a secondary income some way so to make ends meet. They get no income in the winter, after all.
With the size of that emblem, they can get quite a few swatches out of one hat. That cheesy stitching also probably has extra value as collectors won't have to settle for "plain black swatches".
