Nick Swisher don't know Dostoevsky

Nick Swisher per Bryan Hoch at mlb.com:

"I don't really read the papers. I'm more a guy that looks at the pictures."

You know, this does not really surprise me. I think I always kind of "knew" this about Nick; and not necessarily in a bad way. To each his own.

I bet Nick has "read" a graphic novel or two. But Dostoevsky or Tolstoy?* Quite doubtful. Probably not even the Cliff Notes versions either.

Baby steps.

*War and Peace would be WAY WAY too long as a graphic novel so that one probably is not in Nick's future. Can't have it all, you know.
