So what's the problem?

Scott Boras on his Twitter feed as reported by Tyler Kepner of the New York Times:

"The Yankees never even made an offer to me regarding Johnny Damon during the entire process."

Are they under an obligation to?

Come on Scott! Just go sign with one of those "mystery teams" for a boatload of money.

It won't be the Yankees but it will be a team and they will pay megabucks, right?

What's the problem?

You wanted 4 years at $13 million per year. Go get it from one of the mystery teams! There is your solution.

I am not getting the problem.

What am I missing here?

Boras should also not deal with the Yankees any more after being on the receiving end of their dastardly tactics.

Yea, that's it! Don't deal with the Yankees any more.

This means Damon is bound for the Redhawks baby.

And if that doesn't work out, my rec league softball team will pay him $20 a game. Since he's a rookie, though, he'll have to supply the beer.

Mr. Boras, you know my cell number!

You still have to make throws from the outfield in softball.

I played it. I know.

The ball is bigger and heavier too. Johnny would probably shot put the throw.

The bases are shorter too. On fly balls hit to him, guys will tag from second and score.

I would think about this.

Dude you're right.

Boras, the offer is now $10 a game and Damon has to bring assorted microbrews. As CC points out this is a bit of a game on our part, so the ball's in your court. Hurry before the "mystery team" changes its mind.
