Sorry, I am calling b.s. on this. As you can see, Hooton was a barrel of laughs with the Cubs.
No, I think this was all about Lasorda. He was probably always pushing those Slim Fast shakes on Hooton who didn't appreciate it.
Also after wins, Hooton just wanted to do a fist bump but Tommy wanted to do belly bumps. Creeped Hooton out.
I wouldn't smile either.
