A modern day Crash Davis

I see that the Mets have signed 31 year old outfielder, Val Pascucci. Val, if you don't know (and why would you anyway?) is closing in on 200 career minor league home runs. He currently has 193 home runs while with clubs in Vermont, Cape Fear, Jupiter, Harrisburg, Edmonton, Albuquerque, New Orleans, Lehigh Valley and Portland (Ore.). He also played two years in Japan.

I bet Val has quite a hat collection to say the least. He could probably also serve as a consultant to that show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" when he finally retires.

Ok, I am going to pencil him in for "zero" home runs with the Mets in 2010 and he is not somebody I am not going to consider for a fantasy team.

That's just me though.

I think it is questionable whether Bay will even hit 12 there considering the park and that he doesn't appear to be very enthused to be there.
