Ok, but.....
David O'Brien advises that Jason Heyward of the Braves seems to be hitting the ball well at camp.
During batting practice, he reportedly dented a Coca-Cola truck in the parking lot and smashed the sunroof on a team executive's car.
The Braves appear to be a bit impressed with him. Here are some quotes:
"His line drive is like the old Hank Aaron sound." Bobby Cox
"He's as strong as an ox." Terry Pendleton
"Every ball was just scalded." Bobby Cox
"The ball comes off his bat like a heat seeking missile or at least a laser." Well nobody actually
Ok, ok, we get it; the Braves want to hype this guy but if tomorrow they claim that the impact from one of his hits caused the shifting of a tectonic plate*, I am out.
*That can be measured, you know.

Well, what if they had Hansen pitching to him? If two super-hyped forces collide, one will have to fail.
I bet that doesn't happen.
I am hugely impressed by the geology reference. Thank You, Sir.
I been at school all day and then your talking about tectonic plates. I spent a whole hour on it at school. I here to talk about baseball
come on
G Moses,
The proverbial irresistable force meets the immovable object.
You are right though, that better have been one of the coaches who was pitching.
Kevin
Roy,
I am doing my absolute best.
Kevin
Alex,
When I get home, we can compare notes on tectonic plates.
