Too much Ozzie is not enough

Joe Cowley from the Chicago Sun-Times reports on a special 74th birthday wish from manager Ozzie Guillen to the White Sox owner, Jerry Reinsdorf.

"As soon as he dies, I'll get the (bleep) out," said Ozzie.

Ozzie then continued. "He's not just my boss. I think the reason I have a great life and the reason why I really take care of all my family is because of him. He means a lot to us. I thank God for my dad but I think my real dad is Jerry. He spent the most money on me. My dad gave me a couple dollars - Jerry's made me rich."

This is great stuff; even for Ozzie. Praise Jerry Reinsdorf and at the same time speculate on his death and as an added bonus diss his father in the process.

Ozzie's still got it. No doubt.

In related news, Ozzie is now on Twitter and Facebook. This is like heaven on earth for a baseball blogger! Just sit back and let the material roll right in. It's almost too easy!

Did I sign up for Ozzie's Twitter and Facebook feeds?

What do you think?
