AP reports that outfielder, Willy Taveras has been released by the A's just eight days after he was acquired from the Reds with infielder, Adam Rosales for infielder, Aaron Miles and a player to be named later.
Ok, listen up. Here is a lesson to all ballplayers who no doubt will be traded at least once during their career.
Don't plop your stuff down in the middle of the clubhouse and say:
"The corner locker?!
Are you f@#$&! kidding me? No f@#$&! way!
I have been in the league five whole years and last year I hit .240 with one home run and 15 rbis. I am NOT accepting a corner locker next to Fautino De Los Santos!
Show some respect!
Now what are you gonna do about it?!"
Don't do that!

The Astros either are or already have offered Willie a minor league contract and an opportunity to make the big club come spring. It's not likely he'll make the cut since the 'Stros are dripping with outfielders. Willie was a popular player when he was here.
