Bud needs to look at this!
I see that slow-as-molasses (0 for 6 in steal attempts last year) Aubrey Huff of the Giants hit an inside-the-park home run at AT&T Park in San Francisco yesterday. He hit a ball which struck an arch on the right field wall and then bounced at a weird angle and landed FAR FAR away from home plate or any fielder. Apparently this happens periodically in this park.
What the?!
You don't see Ryan Howard hitting inside-the-park home runs in Philadelphia!
You don't see Prince Fielder legging out home runs like this in Milwaukee!
Heck, you don't even see speedy little Juan Pierre doing this in Chicago!
What is to stop the Giants from practicing every day during batting practice to hit this spot? If you hit it, then home run. If you miss it and the ball goes over the fence, then home run.
How is this fair?!
Bud Selig, you are on the clock on this one.

There's several spots like that along the right field wall. It's the brick archways mostly. I think it would be easier for a kicker to hit the upright on purpose from 60 or 70 yards out.
or, to find a needle in a haystack.
It was a great moment. I dig the inside the park home run, honestly.
The best part about it? Guess who recovered the ball?
Second basemen Akinori Iwamura.
you don't see speedy little Juan Pierre doing that in Chicago because speedy little Juan Pierre can't hit the ball that far.
In, I think 2007, when the All-Star game was in SF. Ichiro hit an inside the park homer as well.
