The natives are getting restless, I see

"Not missing Granderson.......well, not missing him against left-handers."

Paul Goldman - Yes Network/pinstripedbible.com on Curtis Granderson's absence from the Yankee lineup due to injury.

Granderson was hitting .161 against left-handers at the time of his injury. He had a .183 average against left-handers all of last year.

I think it is safe to say that Granderson is at a crossroads in his career right now.

He will need to either learn to hit lefties NOW or adjust to being a platoon player as no team will tolerate a .161 batting average in the lineup for any length of time.

This has to happen not gradually. Not over time. Not in two years. Not next year.

It has to happen like NOW.

.161

Wrap your head around that for a starting outfielder in the major leagues.

Didn't see that actually though I would think that is a statistical fluke.

I was at the game Friday and I do know that he appears to be the fastest player that the Tigers have ever had. Ever.

He has a gear that Granderson can only dream about.
