Nice photos on those cards. Can't help wondering if the 1990 card is a subtle dig at Bill's "slide" in May 1989 that put Seattle catcher Dave Valle on the DL. It made Spiers a fan "un-favorite" in Seattle and check out the history that followed:
- Newspaper article on the original event
- Epic M's / Brewers fight on June 30 (page down)
- People have long memories -- March 19 thread from this year references Spiers' slide
