Born today, Johnnie LeMaster.
Johnnie is the only player to hit an inside-the-park home run in his first major league at bat.
If you look at that card, you can probably understand why it was an inside-the-parker and not over the fence.

Thanks. In strolling through your tribute, I see that Johnnie sure didn't gain much weight over the years. He should have bought some of that Weider weight gain powder stuff or something.
Wow... I remember LeMaster... never knew that fact about him hitting an inside the park homer though. Great info... great memories!
