Maybe Bud can help. He used to own the Brewers, you know.
The Associated Press reports that Brewers manager, Ken Macha has complained to a baseball official, Bruce Froemming, a former umpire and current special assistant for Major League Baseball's umpiring department about his batters being hit by too many pitches. Apparently what triggered this was Prince Fielder getting hit* in consecutive games on Friday and Saturday.
MLB is going to get right on that I am sure. Right after they investigate why Teddy Roosevelt has never won a Presidents Day race at the Nationals Park.
These Brewers batters need "protection" and it is against the rules for the Brewers pitchers to handle this, you know.
*If I was in a court of law and charged with hitting Prince Fielder with a pitch, I would simply say, "There is too much to hit" and then rest my case.

maybe if the fat bastard wasn't 350 lbs and wearing a circus tent for a uniform, he might have a chance...
The Brewers plunked Heyward AND Glaus on Sunday and no one got ejected so it's pretty bush league of Macha to start whining after the fact.
