There is a really strange phenomena concerning vintage cards - when I look at the photos of the players on the cards from the 1960 and 1970s (at the time of the photo) the players may be in there 20s or early 30s - However, most of the players appear to look older than me even though I have long past my early 30s.
It even happens today, when I see Brett Farve - he seems like an old man (yet we are relatively the same age)to me but I don't see myself as that old.

Actually, I have talked about this on the site before and everybody else seems to be perplexed by it as well.
