Andres Torres

So I see Andres Torres won the Giants Willie Mac Award which looks to be some type of "good character/community guy" award.

It is funny. Barry Bonds played there 15 years there and never won it.

Not even a pity vote.

Straight from wikipedia, the fount of all information:

"The Willie Mac Award is named in honor of Willie McCovey. It has been presented annually since 1980. It is awarded to the player on the San Francisco Giants who best exemplifies the spirit and leadership consistently shown by McCovey throughout his long career, voted upon by the players and coaching staff."

It doesn't show the vote count, but I'm guessing you're correct, not a pity vote to be found.
