Joe Medwick
On this date in 1975, Joe Medwick passed away at age 63.
"They are making a big deal out of the new strike zone (1963). I never cried where the strike zone was. I wasn't looking for a walk. Didn't make no difference to me, high or low, inside or outside. If I liked it, I'd take my riffle."
