I agree. This thing was getting way out of proportion with people talking about changing the rules of baseball. If that collision and injury happened to J.R. Towles or Kurt Suzuki, it would not even be talked about as much as it is now. It sucks that Buster Posey has been lost for the season but that is a part of sports and it is time to move on.

Flabbergasted at how long it went on and that it was seriously discussed.
I know Posey is a star but that came out of nowhere.
The plus side is that for one day Brian Sabean was the dumbest guy in baseball instead of Frank McCourt.
Hey, I'll take what I can get.
Sabean's comments were asinine and irresponsible. GM's don't have absolute freedom of speech when speaking about league issues.
