My son complained about that very thing. He said that McCarver is an idiot.
I also liked how Justin Timberlake was bashing Joe Buck. That dude was faced!
"Hey Justin Timberlake has a beer in his hand. Let's go talk to him!"
Justin: "I like beer. It doesn't get mad if you don't call it in the morning."
Kinda hard to argue with that logic.
Tim McCarver and his sidekick Joe are the most annoying announcers ever. Joe is just like Chris Wheeler of the Phillies, over analyzing and over sensationalizing every stinking little thing, and McCarver is a self described expert. Every time he says something, he gets proven wrong. Why MLB has them doing all the major games is beyond me.
I thought Buck sounded horrible last night with whatever was physically ailing him. Is he so indespensible to the broadcast that he can't be replaced when he is sick? I know the fans aren't clamoring for him.
